CMA Wins 2011 SCILL Championship
Saturday, May 7th saw the Spartans lacrosse team cap their most successful season in program history, with a 13-3 thrashing of Benedictine Military in the SCILL Championship game. The Spartans win capped an 8-3 season, a program best. The win saw four different Spartans tally scores, Ned Prezioso, Weston Hardee, and Chris Gratton with four goals apiece, Austin Marvin with one. Nate Kern saved 11 of 14 shots, and put forth a solid effort in the clearing game. The teams’ efforts throughout the season were rewarded with the first Championship in program history, and hopes are that the Spartans will continue their success in the years to come.
